This company was in the news the day before yesterday. It is a company established by monks of the Hongwanji sect of Jodo Shinshu. The company will provide electricity to temples and support their operations through its energy business! The article says it’s a world first, but I guess you could say it’s the “world’s first entry into a different industry!”
